Hey, I just saw your video on youtube while researching some stuff for an article about the XJS. I couldnt find an email link direct, so I made this post. I started out with a 77 MGB and then moved to a 94 XJS coupe. I tore the MG apart, stripped it down to the bare metal and sold it before I could completely destroy it. My Jag has cost thousands of dollars a month in maintenance...but its in good shape now. I just wanted to say good luck on the blog, and with the cars. I enjoyed the video and the writing. I also have a blog at www.chrisoncars.com and will be posting something about my cars soon...check it out. You can also see my jag at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2972494

Good Luck, I know how hard it can get at times with these British cars. Thanks!

Hey Chris,

Thanks very much for your post! Glad to hear I'm not the only person crazy enough to go from an MG to a Jag (and same years, too!). I'm still quite happy with my MG and have a lot planned for it. The Jag is also in a rather sorry state, however the mechanics are great and I still get to fly over the highway from time to time. Excellent cars, and as you pointed out in your blog, it is a shame we mostly get vanilla here in the US (as far as styling goes).

Cheers,

Arun
